Ohasis Reviewed

“As the event organiser of Glastonferry Music Festival I was looking for a band that could take us to another level. Being in our 5th year, with a history of three events each year, we needed an outstanding headline tribute act to blow our 2000 capacity crowd out of the water! Having searched through the internet and read plenty of reviews we found so many Oasis tribute bands out there. Thankfully we chose the right one in ‘Ohasis’. Ohasis look alike, act alike and sound alike, reproducing the stage persona and atmosphere that Oasis create at a live concert.
Forget the rest, these are, by far, THE BEST!
Thanks guys you did a great job and we’ll be seeing you again at Glastonferry very soon!’>

November 2009 – Excerpts from an article in justwanna rock.net
Over the years I’ve seen many ‘tribute’ acts in my time, most of those were whilst being in a somewhat inebriated state at the Student Union bar. I’ve generally found that with most tribute acts they’ve either got a lead singer who looks a bit like Britney Spears or sounds a little bit like Bono whilst singing ‘With or without you’ in a quiet, gravelly voice. This is not the case with Ohasis. I was lucky enough to catch their gig at Sincil Bank, the home of Lincoln City FC and to be honest I was blown away.Shane was fantastic as Liam, Scott on lead guitar also pulls off a pretty impressive Noel and as far as I was concerned that was twice the band for the meagre £7 entry fee. But don’t just take my word for it, the truest testament to the success and prowess of these guys as an Oasis tribute band is the fact that hundreds of people from all over the UK crammed themselves into Sincil Bank to catch a glimpse of the glory.
I would seriously recommend catching Ohasis at any opportunity as they put on a really great show and are just a very nice bunch of lads who do it for the love of Oasis, the love of the music and the love of the fans.>

25th September 2009 The Diamond, Sutton in Ashfield.
First time at The Diamond last night was the fantastic tribute band Ohasis… we weren’t sure what to expect as we’ve had different tributes to Oasis in the past…. Well these guy’s excelled themselves, a storming 1hour and 20 min set, the guy’s were the closest thing to Oasis I’ve ever seen… A must for all Oasis fans. The front man, Shane, has got Liam down to a tee and Scott as Noel was superb… The musicianship from all the guy’s in the band was awesome. The crowd were really behind these guy’s and we can’t wait to have them back at The Diamond.>

First time appearance at the club, Ohasis proved to be a storm, they was the first tribute act we have booked and we wasnt sure what to expect, however we was very pleased. The guys performed x2 45 minute sets and were still eager to carry on, as soon as the music began you could immediately tell that these guys are passionate about what they do, Shane was just fantastic as Liam he has the moves, looks and general stance of the real Liam off to a tee, Scott has an uncanny resemblence to Noel and the sheer muscianship that came from him was totally awesome, not forgetting the rest of the band the 2 other guitarists and drummer whom all played exceptionally well. We have already booked Ohasis to come back to the club as the night went so well, very professional, passionate about music and Oasis and all in all great bunch of guys.
